RITCH DEJEET - PRESIDENT
I love being involved in construction. I find myself in it all of the time. I was born the son of a do-it-yourselfer, he insured my first toys were the work bench and a tool set. I've been upgrading ever since. I have been directly involved in many forms of construction from log homes to cabinetry, commercial to residential projects. I have always found myself to happier in turning a "pig's ear into a silk purse", and for the past 14 years have remained in the renovation side. It provides great challenges.
When I can pull myself away from work, I am equally passionate about being with my family and sharing mutual interests. We love being outside, hiking, fishing, snowboarding, boating and relaxing by the campfire.
KEN SMITH - SITE SUPERVISOR / CARPENTRY & SERVICE
I have been working in the Calgary construction industry since 2006. Whether siding for new home construction, working on small or large basement developments or remodeling kitchens and bathrooms, I have developed a thorough understanding of the construction process. I know what is required to deliver a superior product to our clients.
Outside of work, I enjoy tinkering around the house, always improving our home, and trying to complete the wife's Honey Do List in a timely manner. I enjoy working on small woodworking projects, fishing and gold panning in my spare time.
KEVIN MATIOWSKY - SITE SUPERVISOR / CABINET MAKER
I enjoy being an integral part of Nucon West. Although I have my own successful business in windows,doors, and cabinetry, I enjoy the accomplishments and team at Nucon West so much that balancing the demands of my business and Nucon West is a favourable pleasure.
As the son of a General Contractor, I have filled his empty shoes and enjoy sharing the same philosophy as Nucon West that there is no job too big or too small and the satisfaction of the customer is my highest priority.
The hard work that is expected of me in my business and as a team member of Nucon West returns me this sincere pleasure of time with my family, at my cabin, or out on the golf course.
EVE DEJEET - OFFICE MANAGER
The love for my family affords me no option but to be whole-heartedly involved and indebted to the welfare of NuCon West’s customers; resulting in the success of all parties involved in each and every project. I enjoy working with the trades and customers directly and indirectly to assist in making each project an enjoyable experience for everyone.
I love being with my family whether at work or at play when I am not pursuing my own interests of personal fitness, fishing, quading, and spending time with my friends.
SHARJEEL KHAN - ACCOUNTING
Born and raised on the other side of the waters and been here for a decade and beyond, I have found myself at home at Nucon West. Having been schooled in accounting and having workes at many multi-national companies in my home country, I strive to find a simpler, more intimate work setting, which allows me to raise me faimly the way I want to.
My family and my faith are the most important parts of my life. I enjoy travel and taking care of the team and customers at Nucon West.
JESSA MACLEOD - APPRENTICE CARPENTER & LABOUR PUSH
I am new to renovations and construction and enthusiastic to be starting my apprenticeship with NuConWest. I am action packed with energy and creativity and enjoy assisting in creating a beautiful end product. Being a farm girl at heart, I have learned that determination, honesty and hard work will create no limits in what can be accomplished for our valuable clients.
In my spare time, I enjoy visiting family and friends and love the simple things in life, such as dancing in the rain.
